GREENCASTLE -- Members of the Family, Friends and Fun Extension Homemakers Club are hosting a Halloween Festival on Saturday, October 30 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds Community Building from 1 to 4 p.m.

The event is being offered as both a fundraiser to benefit Putnam County Coats for Kids and the Putnam County Fairgrounds and to provide a fun Halloween activity for families with children up to age 12.

The festival will include numerous games and activities as well as refreshments, a book exchange and prizes. The costume contest will take place at 2 p.m.

Many local businesses and individuals have made donations to help make the event a success. Admission to the festival is a free will donation. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
