Lucy Caroline Boyle

Lucy Caroline Boyle, 84, of Greencastle passed away on Friday, Oct. 22, 2010 at Hickory Creek at Sunset.

She was born on Nov. 8, 1925 in Indianapolis to Charles Jacob and Lucille Beatrix Boyle.

Lucy retired in 1988 from the P.R. Mallory Company and was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.

Surviving are many cousins, including Rita Swiezy and husband Joseph of Indianapolis, Mary Bennett and husband Bill of Santa Ana, Calif., and Ann Boyle of Helotes, Texas.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. tomorrow at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 202 E. Washington St. in Greencastle with Father Darvin Winters officiating.

Burial will be private at Calvary Cemetery in Mattoon, Ill. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at the church.
