Greencastle Service Theater kicks off series

Wednesday, October 27, 2010

On Nov. 6 at 10 a.m., an advanced theater class from Greencastle High School will kick off Greencastle Service Theater's series of interactive performances with an original play about local youth and community relationships.

The show will take place at the Putnam County Museum at 1105 N. Jackson St.

Audience members will be encouraged to comment on and sometimes get involved in the scenes in order to affect, and even change, the outcome of the play.

The Greencastle Service Theater is an interactive performing arts program that has been provided with support from Arts Illiana, the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The performance on Saturday is a result of a partnership among the Service Theater, Beth Bax's advanced theater class at Greencastle High School, and the Putnam County Museum.
