James E. Anderson Sr.

James E. Anderson Sr., 60, of Cloverdale, passed away on Friday, Oct. 29, 2010 in Cloverdale.

He was born on April 17, 1950 in Greencastle and was the son of James Fredrick and Virginia Beulah (Lewis) Anderson.

He was married to Gaye Haulk and she survives. He is also survived by his parents, who reside in Greencastle; his children, Melinda Sue (Timothy C.) Day, Sherri Ann (Glenn) Sanders, James E. Anderson Jr.; stepchildren, Tyler Weist and Colby (Tevis) Brown; his brother Robert Anderson; and 13 grandchildren.

He was a job setter for Allison's for 35 years and was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 471 in Brooklyn, Moose Lodge No. 1592 in Greencastle and Eagles Lodge No. 4388 in Greencastle.

Graveside services will be held on at 1 p.m. today at the Center Valley Cemetery in Clayton. There will be no visitation.

Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale is entrusted with the arrangements.
