Wednesday, November 10, 2010

GREENCASTLE -- The Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce will be selling annual Greencastle Keepsake Christmas Ornaments.

Main Street Greencastle began selling the ornaments in 1991 and continued the collection through 2007.

The 2010 ornament will feature the Emerald Palace Playground that was built by community volunteers in Robe-Ann Park in the fall of 2000.

The ornaments are frosted white with the playground depicted in green. They come in a box ready for gift wrapping.

The ornaments will be on sale through the first of the year for $10 per ornament, and can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce, the Putnam County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Greencastle City Hall, Almost Home, Treasures on the Square, First National Bank, Teachers Credit Union, First Financial Bank and Cunningham Insurance.

At the Chamber of Commerce and CVB there will also be some past years' ornaments on sale.

So if anyone missed a year or needs to replace an ornament, check at either of these two locations to see if it is available.

For questions, call the Chamber of Commerce at 653-4517.
