Masons' monthly meeting is tonight

Cloverdale Masonic Lodge No. 132 of the Free and Accepted Masons will hold a monthly meeting tonight. Dinner, which will consist of turkey and all the trimmings, will be served at 6:30 p.m., and the meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.

All Masons are invited, as well as their families and friends

Smoke-free family night features puppet show

Putnam County Public Library and the Putnam County Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Coalition will team up to present a smoke-free family night at the library today from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The event will feature a puppet show put on by Mental Health America of Putnam County, games, prizes and information on leading a smoke-free life.

Grief support group meets tonight

The grief support group provides support for those who lost loved ones during holidays.

No matter how long it's been since a loved one died, grief can make the holidays a painful time -- but there's hope. Join the Surviving the Holidays group 6 p.m. tonight at Greencastle Christian Church, 620 Primrose Lane.

There is a $5 registration fee, and scholarships are available.

Jeep ride, spaghetti dinner to benefit Eli

A Jeep and SUV benefit ride for the family of Eli Hardwick will be held Nov. 21.

Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Putnam County Airport in the Dixie Chopper hangar. The ride will begin at 11 a.m.

Following the ride, a spaghetti dinner will be held. Cost is $15 for each vehicle in the ride and $5 per meal for the dinner.
