Jackson Township seat open

BAINBRIDGE -- The North Putnam Community School Corporation Board of Trustees is looking for someone to take the place of one of its board members, Jon Buser, who has resigned.

The member will represent Jackson Township.

This board member's term expires Dec. 31, 2014. The board wishes to appoint a person at its Dec. 16 meeting. Interested parties should submit a letter of interest briefly outlining special qualifications and a resumé by 4 p.m. Dec. 6 to Mr. Andy Beck, School Board President, P.O. Box 169, 300 N. Washington St., Bainbridge, IN 46105.

A board candidate must be a registered voter and 21 years of age. Candidates are also required to have lived in Jackson Township for at least one year.

Board candidates cannot be a teacher or non-certified employee of North Putnam Community School Corporation.
