Saturday, November 27, 2010

The Cloverdale United Methodist Church, located at 364 E. Robert Weist Rd., is an AngelFood Ministry host site for Putnam County and surrounding areas.

The program is designed for all families. It is a great way to keep grocery bills under control and still be able to have restaurant quality food. There are several different boxes that can be ordered, from items for seniors to items for people with restricted diets to items for children. In addition, they offer several specialty boxes, including steak boxes, fruit boxes and vegetable boxes.

They are also offering a Christmas Dinner box intended to feed 10 people with a price of $36. The box includes a large roasting hen, ham and all the trimmings.

Prices for the other boxes range in price from $21 to $41.

The Cloverdale site will be taking orders Dec. 8 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and Dec. 11 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Both order dates will be held in the fellowship hall at the church.

Payments is required at the time the order is placed, and cash, check, money order or EBT cards. Orders may also be played online using either a credit card or debit card.

Distribution will be held on Dec. 18 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the fellowship hall.
