Patricia A. Marvel

Patricia A. Marvel, 73, Eminence, passed away on Dec. 15, 2010 at Clarian Health/Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, after a long struggle with cancer.

She was born on July 10, 1937 in Dugger, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Gordon Edward and Gladys Juanita (Meeks) Gray.

Patricia created a homestead for the Marvel family with her husband of nearly 55 years, Charlie Marvel. She was a proud mother and homemaker to her children, Cindy Gott, Poland, Craig E. Marvel, Indianapolis and late Charles E. Marvel, Jr. who preceded her in death on July 31, 2008.

Pat had a special admiration for her in-law children Teri Marvel and Jerry Gott; as well as her grandchildren, Candice Snyder, Indianapolis, Raymond Snyder and his wife Machelle, Indianapolis, Scott Andrew Marvel, Indianapolis, Stephen Anthony Marvel, Indianapolis, Branden David Marvel, Indianapolis, Jeremy Kyle Marvel, Warsaw, and Britni Alyse Marvel, Indianapolis; her 6 great-grandchildren and her very special grand puppy.

In addition to her son and parents she was preceded in death by her grandson, Charles David Marvel.

She enjoyed their winter home and dear friends near Ruskin, Fla. until the spring of 2010. She was a member of O. E. S., # 546, Eminence.
