Tiger Cubs pick up big win over Rockville, 60-50

ROCKVILLE -- The Greencastle girls' basketball team recorded its ninth win of the season, defeating Rockville 60-50 in a make-up contest.

After a sluggish start which saw GHS score only four points in the opening quarter, the Tiger Cubs outscored the Rox by 15 points in the second and third quarter.

Taylor Pruitt led the way with 17 points. She was followed by Mallory Miller with 16 and Chelsea Samuels with 14.

The GHS junior varsity also won 27-20.

Greencastle will next be in action Jan. 4 at home aganst Rockville.
