Christmas Eve break-in at Humphrey's

Monday, December 27, 2010

GREENCASTLE -- An unknown offender burglarized Humphrey's Outdoor Power, located on Jackson Street, on Dec. 24 at about 1:30 a.m. The break-in is very similar to one committed almost exactly one year ago, said Brian Humphrey, store owner.

The offender broke the glass in front of the store, walked in and took several chainsaws before leaving.

The offender from last year stole the same items and did it in a similar fashion.

Humphrey said he does not have a description of the offender. Greencastle Police are reviewing security camera footage.

Any information regarding this investigation should be reported to Detective Randy Seipel at GPD by calling 653-2925 or e-mail rseipel@cityofgreencastle.com

  • If they didn't catch the offender last year, what makes you think they will catch them this year?
