Dorothy F. DiRocco

Dorothy F. DiRocco, 80, of Greencastle passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011. She was born on Jan. 5, 1931 in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Edward Mansfield and Emily Gilliard Mansfield.

Her parents and a brother, Edward Mansfield preceded her in death.

Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Robert W. DiRocco; two sons, Robert E. DiRocco and wife Robin of Reelsville and Kenneth J. DiRocco and wife Christy of Roanoke, Va.; two sisters, Eleanor Schlick of Hicksville, N.Y. and Lillian Steiniger of Toms River, N.J.; and two beloved grandsons, Dustin DiRocco and Shawn DiRocco.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, with Father Darvin Winters as celebrant. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, where a Rosary will be held at 6:15 p.m.
