Joe K. Webb, 79, of Bainbridge passed away Saturday Feb. 12, 2011 at his home following a brief illness.
He was born on Nov. 15, 1931 in Ollie, Ky.; he was the son of Lewis Clay and Mattie Frances Manion Webb.
A 1951 graduate of Roachdale High School, he married Patricia Rose Shrout on Oct. 20, 1954 and she survives
Mr. Webb had been a construction worker in Putnam and Parke Counties and a semi-driver. He attended the Cloverdale Nazarene Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife and daughters Karen (Darrell) Lister, Cathy (Larry) Lister both of Bainbridge; Paula (Russell) Lance of Cloverdale; a sister, Lola (Richard) Hughes of Walhalla, S.C.; one brother, Henry Webb of Evansville; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; six great grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Beulah Jane "Janie Babe" Crissman, his parents, two sisters and three brothers
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale, IN. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Burial will follow services at Roachdale Cemetery. Pastor Thomas Gibbs will officiate.
