* Feb. 25, 3:15 a.m.: Maribel Fragosa, 35, Sinking Springs, Pa., was westbound on I-70 at the 37-mile marker off ramp in a 2003 Saturn. Due to road conditions, she lost control of the car and went into a spin, leaving the north side of the road and hitting a state highway sign. The car came to rest in the ditch between I-70 and the off ramp.

Fragosa and a passenger were given a courtesy ride to a motel in Cloverdale.

Vehicle towed by Steele's, but with minor damage. Damage $2,501-$5,000.

* Feb. 25, 7 a.m.: Betty J. Pilkin, 56, Brazil, was eastbound on U.S. 40 in a 2000 Dodge when she lost control on the slick road, going off the right side and striking a guardrail. Car came to rest on top of the guardrail.

Towed by Hughes Towing. Damage $1,001-$2,500.
