Jerry D. Cloncs, 74, Crawfordsville, passed away Thursday evening at his home.

Mr. Cloncs was a member of the Ben Hur Car Club, the Eagles and attended Connection Point Christian Church in Brownsburg. He retired from R.R. Donnelley after 42 years of service. He was a graduate of North Salem High School.

Born Feb. 12, 1937 in North Salem, he was the son of Hiram and Dorothy Ayers Cloncs. He married Betty Witt on Sept. 11, 1960 in Roachdale, and she survives.

Additional survivors include four children, son Roger (Debbie) Cloncs of Greencastle, daughter Lisa (Randy) Deneau of Crawfordsville, son Michael (Pam) Cloncs of Crawfordsville, and daughter Maribeth (Chris) Jalovec of Cincinnati; 11 grandchildren, Justin, Alex, Hannah, Megan, Joe, Morgan, Jake, Savannah, Steven, Jackson and Annabelle; as well as sister, Jane Hensley of Avon and brother, Robert (Susan) Cloncs of Danville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Marjorie Ann Ross and brother, Bill Cloncs.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Christ Lutheran Church, 300 W. South Blvd. Crawfordsville, with Pastor Steven Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Roachdale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the church.
