South Putnam to perform "Sneaky Fitch"
The South Putnam High School drama department will present, "The Death and Life of Sneaky Fitch," Friday and Saturday.
Both performances will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets for the event are $5 and are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
"The Death and Life of Sneaky Fitch," written by James L. Rosenberg, takes place in the fictional western town of Gopher Gulch, where the nuisance known as Sneaky Fitch terrorizes the usually quiet town.
When Sneaky falls ill and apparently dies (thanks to some suspicious "medicine" that the town's doctor, Doc Birch, gives to him), a feeling of relief is felt around the town.
But when Sneaky rises from his grave, everything changes.
Nobody in the town will confront a man who has come back from the dead and Sneaky quickly takes advantage of his immortality.
The show is directed by Jennifer Perrin. Cast members include Kyle Chaney, Rachel Jervis, Kandra Johnson, Matt McKinney, Jessie McKean, Pat Allen, Brandon Shrader, Nicole Hurst, Jessica York, Jessica Maginity, Sarah Cheatham, Cody Warren, Dean Varvel and Lyndsie Beasley.
