Cloverdale approves mileage rate increase to match national amount at last meeting
CLOVERDALE -- At the Cloverdale Town Council meeting Tuesday the board approved an increase in mileage rates to match the national amount.
The new mileage rate is $.51 a mile.
Town clerk/treasurer Cathleen Monaco warned the board that the town's contribution to PERF, the Public Employee Retirement Fund. For the next year's budget, the employer contribution will go from 7.25 percent to 11.5 percent.
Don Gedert with the redevelopment commission said that there hasn't been any news on the horse arena.
Town building inspector Mark Cassida had issued citations for two barn like structures at 203 W. Robert Weist Dr. and a degrading cement structure at 51 N. main St.
The council also gave interim utility manager Rich Saucerman the ability to purchase rocks for the floor of a new pole barn over the price amount they had originally approved.
The council approved $63, 696.06 in payment on demand checks that had already been issued, $10,219.20 in accounts payable that had not been issued, and $35,693.02 in payroll checks.
