Nancy Ann Stringer

Nancy Ann Stringer, 70, Greencastle, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2011.

She was born on May 14, 1940 in Greencastle to Ernest Flint and Mildred Baird Flint.

Mrs. Stringer was a 1958 graduate of Greencastle High School. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star no. 255. Nancy retired from DePauw Food Services after many years of service.

Surviving are her sister, Jane Roby and husband Don of Plainfield; a nephew, Dave Roby of Plainfield and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Keith Stringer on April 16, 2007; and her daughter, Lisa Thies.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Neeley officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, with an Order of Eastern Star Service at 7 p.m.
