City Police

Greencastle City Police made two arrests Tuesday afternoon on the city's South Side.

Sgt. Chris Jones and Officer Ed Wilson were summoned to 712 Maple Ave., Apt. 4, at 1 p.m. after a caller reported hearing someone crying for help.

Thomas Coffey, 38, Terre Haute, was charged with domestic battery and invasion of privacy in violation of a protective order. He was also arrested on a Montgomery County warrant for check deception.

Amanda Coffey, 29, Greencastle, was also arrested on a Montgomery County warrant for check deception.
