Carter James Evens

Carter James Evens, 8 months old of Greencastle, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011.

He was born on July 20, 2010 in Greencastle to Brittany N. Schmitz and Drew M. Evens.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Robert Chadd and Bill Chappel.

Survivors include his parents; grandmother, Anita J. Schmitz; great-grandparents, Angela and Frank O'Hair, and Donna Chappel -- Loudermilk; uncles, Daniel Vermillion and Kendrich Collins; many great-aunts, great-uncles and numerous cousins.

Services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Faith Walkers Community Church, 4377 S. U.S. Hwy 231, Greencastle, with Pastor Anthony Brown officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
