North Putnam shuts down Eminence

The North Putnam softball team defeated Eminence 2-1 Thursday at home.

Lauren Green pitched a one-hit complete game with 11 strikeouts. She also went 1-for-2 at the plate with an RBI triple. Katie Welch and Morgan Robinson were 2-for-3 at the plate, while Alyssa Roberts and Bridget Johnston had one hit each.

The junior varsity also picked up a win by defeating the Eels 13-3.

North Putnam will travel to Western Boone next Saturday 9 a.m.
