It all came down to the No. 1 singles showdown between Greencastle's Katie Farris and South Putnam Kendra Latham. It was truly a match that went back and forth, and with most other matches finished, had spectator on all sides.

Once again, Farris came out strong and jumped out of a 4-0 lead over Latham, but not before the senior made a run of her own. Latham won three games to pull within one at 4-3, but Farris was able to hold her off and a final hit from Latham that landed in the net sealed the win for Greencastle. Farris wont the match 6-4, 5-7 and 6-3 to give Greencastle the 3-2 victory.
