Eggstra Effort

Friday, April 15, 2011
Sara Culler, Patty Fislar of Carpenter Realtors, My Gilley of Carpenter Realtors and Jan Firebaugh of Friends of the Park of Greencastle volunteer some time Thursday afternoon to fill eggs for Saturday's annual Easter Egg Hunt in Robe-Ann Park. Children age 1 to 11 will overtake the park at 10 a.m. Saturday in search of the 9,000 hidden easter eggs filled with prizes and candy for five different age categories. Between the annual children's hunt and Friday night's Eggfest, approximately 17,000 eggs will be hidden and found at the park this weekend. Egg stuffers have included volunteers from Carpenter, Friends of the Park, ResCare, Sigma Alpha Epsilon and People Pathways. The event is free; however, donations are accepted.
