Neal B. Wallen

Neal B. Wallen, 64, Fillmore, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born Jan. 20, 1947 in Putnam County, the son of the late Eunice Wallen and Amanda Stanger.

During his life, he was employed at Kenworth of Indianapolis, Buick of Plainfield and International of Indianapolis as an auto body man. Neal loved nature and spent a lot of his free time working on his farm.

He is survived by his wife Janet Lorene Campbell Wallen, whom he married Feb. 5, 1966; son David Wallen; daughter Cathy Wallen Bryson and husband Greg; five grandchildren, Allie, Ian, Caitlin, Ariana and Michael; brothers James, Abraham, Henry, Howard and Raymond; and sisters Iris and Marie.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville.

The family requests contributions be made to the donors favorite charity, in lieu of flowers.
