North Putnam wins eighth

The North Putnam baseball team moved to 8-8 on the season after its 6-2 win over Southmont Wednesday.

Freshman Coy Flynn put in a great performance on the mound for the Cougars, going all seven innings, while allowing just two runs and striking out six.

Kyler Badten was 1-for-3 with two RBIs, with Tyler Watson adding three RBIs and Kaleb Belcher adding one RBI.
