The Putnam County Museum will open its newest exhibit, "Remember the Past, See the Future," at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 11.
The exhibit will feature the renderings from the Greencastle Stellar Communities Grant alongside historic photographs of the square and other spaces associated with the grant inclusion.
In addition, the opening will include a short panel presentation of the local organizations involved with history, preservation and heritage.
The exhibit will be an illustrated journey down memory lane, as well as a teaser for what's yet to come.
"The exhibit showcases our vibrant, historic community, while allowing visitors the opportunity to visualize Putnam County 2014," Museum Executive Director Tanis Monday said.
"We are thrilled to collaborate with the Heritage Preservation Society and act as host to this exciting promotion of the community, both before and after."
