Bean Counters

Saturday, May 7, 2011
Riley Holt and father Jason gather kidney beans to send to Gonaives, Haiti as part of Cornerstone Baptist Church's month-long program to assist different people in town and around the world. Jenny Goins, who organized the event, helped the group of more than 20 collect kidney beans, squash seeds and watermelon seeds in packages of 10 each to send. The group created more than 300 collections of seeds.

  • Great picture of Jason and Riley! Actually, the photographer left early...there were 52 people who helped pack more than 450 seed packets!
