Alpha Omega Academy graduates six

Alpha Omega Academy graduated six seniors on Friday.

PUTNAMVILLE -- An audience of parents and friends attended the Alpha Omega Christian Academy commencement ceremony on Friday, May 13 at Putnamville Baptist Church. Alpha Omega is an education mission of the church. An afternoon reception for the seniors preceded the ceremony.

Graduates are Hannah Bennett, daughter of Pastor Stewart and Regina Bennett of Reelsville; Josh Trivett, son of Dan and Pam Trivett of Fillmore; Jonathon Watson, son of Tim and Julie Watson of Cloverdale; Eric Chambon, son of Mary and Chris Chambon of Greencastle; and Scott Sutherlin, son of Tim and Debby Sutherlin of Greencastle.

The seniors delivered their own commencement remarks, and special music was presented by Alpha Omega students under direction of Sharon Blaydes. During the program, the academy's kindergarten students also graduated to the school's first grade fall class. Ian T. Wallace, Alpha Omega administrator and lead high school instructor, presided.

Alpha Omega Christian Academy, 637 E. U.S. 40, Putnamville, provides pre-kindergarten through high school instruction in classes held at Putnamville Baptist Church. The school is in its sixth year of classes in the church facility.
