Shirley Jean Wilson, 68, Greencastle, passed away at her residence on Monday, May 23, 2011.

She was born on Feb. 28, 1943 in Indianapolis to the late Ralph Julius and Wanda Maxine (Martin) Fausey. On Oct. 7, 1971 she married her love Ronald Lee Wilson in Greenwood.

Shirley was a housewife. She loved to sing karaoke and dance. She also enjoyed watching scary movies.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband Ronald L Wilson Sr., Greencastle; six children, John S. Haley and Angela of Mount Pleasant, Iowa; Jenny S. Haley of Pontoon Beach, Ill.; Shelby J. Isner of Indianapolis; Ronald L. Wilson Jr. of Indianapolis; Vera L. Proctor and husband Norman and Indianapolis; Benita I. Scharfenberg and husband Sam of Washington, Mo.; son-in-law Joseph Merriman of Greenfield; stepfather Lewis D. Clark of Tampa, Fla.; stepmother Charolette Fausey of Indianapolis; three sisters, P. Judith Lavender of Ohio; M. Jill Fausey of Tampa, Fla. and Linda Rosier and husband Bill of Indianapolis; 28 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and in-laws; and beloved friends Brenda Sapp, Bobbi Reagan, Thomas Jefferson, Della Downing and many other relatives and friends.

Shirley was preceded in death by her father Ralph Fausey; mother Wanda Clark; brother Paul Clark; daughter Shelly Merriman and grandson Christopher Lee.

Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
