MainStreet Rockville hosts street dance

ROCKVILLE -- MainStreet Rockville is offering its 20th cruise in-street dance, combined again with the motorcycle, scooter and bike show on June 4. The event will run from 4 to 9 p.m. on the courthouse square in Rockville.

Dancing will begin at 5 p.m. with music by Chameleon Entertainment with the people's choice awards and the 50/50 drawing held at 8 p.m. Registration will begin at 3 p.m. with a $6 entry fee for each entry.

Cars will enter from the southeast corner of the square at the corner of High and Jefferson streets. Motorcycles, scooters and bikes will enter at the same spot and will be staged on the east side of Market Street adjacent to the courthouse.

Dash plaques will be provided to the first 50 cars to enter the cruise in. People's choice awards will be given to the vehicle and motorcycle, scooter or bike garnering the most votes from participants.

Food vendors will be on hand, and restaurants on the square will be open.
