City Police

A 31-year-old Clove-rdale woman is facing three charges after her arrest Thursday night on Indianapolis Road, Greencastle City Police reported.

Jennifer Deerwester was lodged in the Putnam County Jail after being stopped at 8:03 p.m. by Capt. Charles Inman.

She is charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with a minor passenger in the vehicle, neglect of a dependent and driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.

Three traffic citations were issued recently by city officers.

-- At 2 a.m. Friday, Wayne Burk, 20, Poland, was ticketed on State Road 240 by Officer Matt Huffman for an expired plate.

-- At 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sgt. Chris Jones ticketed two occupants of a vehicle stopped on Indiana-polis Road. Cited for seatbelt violations were Chester Brown, 59, and Lowell Brown, 71, both of Brazil.

Sheriff's Department

* June 2, 5:27 a.m.: Joanna S. Metz, 34, Wadesville, was northbound on CR 175 East in a 2002 Dodge when she hit a deer.

Damage $2,501-$5,000.

Charles Dean Doolin, 49, no city listed: Probation violation, June 2, 4:20 p.m.

Michael Jason Muse, 28, Gosport: Possession of methamphetamine, operating while intoxicated, June 2, 6:02 p.m.

Bobby Gene Stand-ifer-Forey, 21, Poland: Violation of home detention, June 2, 9:32 p.m.

Frederick Taylor, 38, Greencastle: Public intoxication, disorderly conduct disturbing the peace, resisting law enforcement, June 3, 2:45 a.m.

City Fire

June 2, 3:08 p.m.: Alarm at 446 Anderson St. Crews found no fire and reset the alarm. Cleared 3:24 p.m.
