Elizabeth Renee Cooper, 34, of Bloom-ington, formerly of Greencastle, passed away at her residence on June 6, 2011.

Born March 28, 1977 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Charles Bruce Cooper and Sarah Elizabeth (Bruner) Quasebarth. She was a graduate of Greencastle High School class of 1995 and had taken business courses at Ivy Tech.

Having been a survivor of domestic violence, she had been an advocate for domestic violence and other related organizations.

Survivors include her parents, both of Greencastle; a sister, Erika (John) Fields of Ellettsville; stepbrother, Edwin Quasebarth of Greencastle; half-brother, Perry (Ashley) Cooper of Greencastle; grandparents, Betty Bruner and Charles and Karen Cooper, all of Greencastle; a niece, Jordan Elizabeth Fields; and a nephew, Christian Theodore Fields.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles Bruner and an aunt, Becky Richard-son.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Immanuel Baptist Church, 9 Houck Rd., Greencastle, with Pastor Robert Davies officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of service on Saturday.
