Garland Duane Eisele, 69, Poland, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at St. Vincent Clay Hospital.
He was born on July 24, 1941 in Seymour and was the son of the late James and Vivian Eileen (Jean) Eisele.
He was married to Patricia Rose McQuade on Aug. 24, 1963 and she survives.
He was a retired diesel mechanic for Cummins Engines in Indianapolis.
He is also survived by his children, Deborah Rubeck and husband Tonnie of Poland, Kimberly Monnier and husband Johnathan of Poland, Vivian McKenzie and husband Phillip of Staunton and Vicki Rutenberg and husband Mark F. of Cloverdale; his sister, Doneilleen Isaacs of Safford, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Robert Jean Eisele and Garland Duane Eisele Jr.; his father, James Eisele; his mother, Vivian Eileen Eisele Wisehart; stepfather, Donald Wisehart; and his sister Susan Phillips Lee.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Dixon Chapel Cemetery, Leesville, at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
