SAN ANTONIO -- Trinity University junior Eric Davis was selected for the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golf All-Sportsmanship Team.

The SCAC recognizes student-athletes who exhibit sportsmanship throughout the academic year.

Davis, a 2008 Greencastle High School graduate, held a scoring average at 82.53 over 19 rounds of golf for the Tigers. He placed in a tie for 28th place at the SCAC Championships last April at Horseshoe Bay, Texas.

He is the son of Scott and Joan Davis of Greencastle.

The Tigers finished in fifth place at the Trinity-hosted SCAC tournament.
