Sheriff's Department

* June 14, 5:05 p.m.: Trevor L. Smith, 17, Roachdale, was southbound on CR 600 East in a 1996 Honda Accord when he crossed left of center in a curve. Smith met a vehicle, overcorrected, and left the roadway.

Damage $2,501-$5,000.

* June 16, 5 p.m.: Patrick C. Thibobeau, 43, Reelsville, was westbound on U.S. 40 on a 2003 BMW motorcycle. He was making a right turn into his driveway when he was sideswiped by Eric W. Wiatt, 46, Centerpoint, who was also westbound in a 2006 Honda Accord.

Wiatt said he did not see Thibobeau.

Damage $2,501-$5,000.

County Jail

Shawnta Marie Smith, 25, Indianapolis: Failure to appear, June 16, 2:40 p.m.

City Police

One traffic citation was written Thursday night by Greencastle City Police.

Melinda George, 25, Indianapolis, was stopped on Indianapolis Road at 9 p.m. by GPD Capt. Charles Inman. She was cited for driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.
