'Convergence' plays at Robe-Ann Tuesday

The jazz ensemble Convergence will perform at Robe-Ann Park Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. The group will improvise over classic and pop standards incorporating a measure of blues, bossa, bop and ballads in the mix.

Harry and Sue Maginity formed Convergence 12 years ago. Harry plays upright and electric bass. Sue is a vocalist.

Craig Watson is an outstanding jazz singer who plays a Miles Davis-style trumpet and rhythm guitar. He'll be featured on such songs as "Moondance " and "Fly Me To The Moon".

Jeff Kunkel completes the ensemble. He is an accomplished pianist, jazz accordianist and saxophone player.

The Robe-Ann concert series is sponsored by the Greencastle Civic League and Greencastle Parks and Recreation.
