* June 14, 6:43 p.m.: Thomas E. Arthur Jr., 47, Fillmore, was westbound on Lieber Road in a 2007 Ford F150.

Dustin A. Phipps, 18, Indianapolis, was eastbound in a 2004 Ford Taurus and was trying to remove a bee from his vehicle.

Phipps went left of center and hit the left rear of Arthur's truck.

Phipps was cited for operating without financial responsibility.

Damage $5,001-$10,000.

* June 16, 1:05 p.m.: Kevin D. Harris, 31, Indianapolis, was northbound on U.S. 231 in a 2002 Saturn LS1. Michael A. Zuver, 17, Roachdale, was also northbound on a 2000 Hensim dirt bike.

Harris said he rounded a curve and saw Zuver's motorcycle on the right side of the fog line along the shoulder at a slow rate of speed.

Harris started to pass Zuver, who turned left into his path. Zuver said he looked to the rear but did not see the car.

Harris swerved into the southbound lane to avoid the motorcycle. Skid marks indicate his brakes were locked up.

The right front of the car hit the motorcycle, ejecting Zuver, who then struck the windshield of the car.

PMH ambulance transported Zuver to Hendricks Regional Health with a possible left ankle fracture.

Zuver was cited for no registration plate.

Damage $2,501-$5,000.
