Arts Council First Friday slated for July 1

The Greencastle Arts Council will be having a variety of activities this weekend at its monthly First Friday event. The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at locations across Greencastle.

The first events will be held at Robe Ann Park. Lenora Bowlby will be showcasing her bookshelf art, Kim Pieper will display photographs from her recent trip to Washington D.C. and Jackie Helton will present her gourd art and finger weaving. A "Kids' Corner" interactive art option will be available as well.

First Friday will also include a musical performance by Johnny Little's music students at Robe Anne Park and The Randy Salman Quartet at Chiefs Restaurant at 8 p.m.

There will be a Labyrinth Walk at 6 p.m. at Hanna and South Jackson streets -- "The Labyrinth. This will be followed by Tai Chi at 7 p.m.
