Raising the roof

Executive Director of United Way of Putnam County David English (left) presents a check for $800 to Putnam County Girls Softball League Treasurer Steve Mason. The money, plus an additional $800 from the UAW, will go toward new metal roofs on the dugouts at Big Walnut Sports Park. "I would like to especially thank Josh Bright of UAW for all of the time effort he's put into this project," Mason said. The Putnam County Girls Softball League is a non-profit organization that hosts 200-250 girls every season.
