Jean C. Waygood, 82, of Greencastle, formerly of Pocono Pines, Pa., and Columbus, passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Waygood was born on Dec. 29, 1928 in Lawrence, Mass., to Frank N. Cramton and Edith V. Crossland Cramton.

Jean was a graduate of Endicott College in Beverly, Mass.

Surviving are her husband of 62.5 years, James J. Waygood; three daughters, Janice W. Zehner and husband William of Camarillo, Calif., Joanne W. Cole and husband Tony of Greencastle, and Jennifer Waygood and fiancée Tom Pierce of Indianapolis; four brothers, Richard Cramton and wife Betty of Hinesville, Vt., Donald Cramton of Philadelphia, David Cramton of Trucksville, Pa., and John Cramton of Rochester, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Jamison J. Zehner, David J. Zehner and wife Pamela, Dwight A. Cole, II and wife Tracy, and Tameka M. Cole; and 11 great-grandchildren.

At Jean's request, a private celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania.
