Michelle Lynn Selby

Michelle Lynn Selby, 55, of Greencastle, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011.

She was born on June 3, 1956 in Indianapolis to Robert Weir Thompson and Alice Pauline Palmer.

Michelle was a 1975 graduate of Arsenal Technical High School.

Her father preceded her in death.

Surviving are her son, Shawn Selby; her mother, Alice Palmer; siblings, Tina Johnston and husband Keith, Randolph Thompson, Mary Williams and husband Kent, Roberta Simpson and husband Bob, Steven Thompson and wife Annette and Melody Truesdale; and a grandson, Jacob Selby.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 31, at 11 a.m. at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Gregory officiating. Interment will follow at New Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Aug. 30, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
