North Putnam splits with Southmont

The North Putnam eighth grade volleyball team defeated Southmont 25-12 and 25-22 Tuesday night. The Cougars came back to win after being down 20-15 in the second game.

Leading North Putnam in kills were Taylor Nauert and Adri Millican. Hannah Gray, Nauert and Millican combined for 11 aces and 24 service points. Libero Kennedy Weliever led the team in passing and digs.

The seventh grade team lost to the Mounties 22-25, 25-16 and 15-13.
