Annual Russellers' Roundup event this weekend

RUSSELLVILLE -- The town of Russellville will be holding its annual Russellers' Roundup this Saturday, Sept. 10 and Sunday, Sept. 11 at the Russellville Community Center.

The event will begin each day at 8 a.m. with breakfast. The menu includes scrambled eggs and cinnamon rolls, as well as sausage gravy and biscuits.

The main meal, served beginning at 11 a.m., will include barbecue, hot dogs, coneys, tenderloin, as well as several other dishes.

Saturday's entertainment will consist of a morning health fair, children's games and a baby contest, Miss and Mister Tot, along with Little Miss and Little Mister contests.

"Desperate Measures" is also set to perform, starting at 1 p.m. along with Ashley Ramsay at 6 p.m. There will also be a cornhole tournament at 2 p.m. at Roadfarmers Restaurant.

Other entertainment will include square dancing with C.R. Boyd as well as line dancing with Ron and Janet Lehr.

Sunday will begin with breakfast followed by a church service at 11 a.m. There will also be a car show along with music from Just Us.
