Cougars defeat Clovers

The North Putnam seventh and eighth grade volleyball teams were in action Monday against Cloverdale.

The seventh grade team defeated the Clovers 25-15 and 25-17. Carlie Bundy had five points to lead the Cougars, with Haley Abdon and Grace Willard recording four points each.

In the eighth grade match, the Cougars won over Cloverdale 25-13 and 25-23. Taylor Nauert had 20 service points, with six aces and six kills. Raegan Bowling led the team in assistance.

Adri Millican and Jenny Heron had three kills each, with Heron added two solo blocks. Claire Sims had five service points and one ace.
