Annual Family Movie Night set Sept. 17 at park

The third annual Family Movie Night at Robe-Ann Park will take place on Saturday, Sept. 17. The Putnam County Youth Development Commission is also reaching out to the community seeking sponsorships.

They are asking for $100 sponsorships in order to not only provide for the event but also to purchase school supplies for Putnam County children. Each sponsor will be recognized in all promotional and advertising materials.

Admission is to the G- or PG-rated movie will be free of charge. The title has not been announced.

As usual, all refreshments will be available for purchase at the concession stand.

All proceeds will be used to help purchase school supplies. The supplies will be distributed at the National Night Out.

  • This "article" is almost comical in its disjointedness. No time is listed for the event, no movie title is given, and not even a commitment to the rating of the movie can be made.

    The "as usual" designation is a hoot, too. And National Night Out was held in August, when, you know, school supplies would have been useful for back-to-school time.
