College spirit

Wednesday, September 28, 2011
Demonstrating their spirit for their favorite college or university, Greencastle Middle School staff members stand in front of one of the bookcases showing students' college choices. GMS staff members are (front, from left) Jennifer Brodar and Ali Anderson, (back, from left) C.J. Shields, Hope Sutherlin, Molly Warren, Jeff Miller, Dawn Huber and Kathi Asbell. GMS students are spending College Go! Week thinking about their future. Wednesday was college spirit day with students encouraged to wear clothing supporting one of their favorite colleges. Most importantly, GMS will host its inaugural 21st Century Scholars Application Night from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept.28. A computer lab will be open and staff available to help parents through the on-line application process. It is open to students in grades 7-8 and their parents. Once a student leaves the middle school, they can no longer apply for the program.

  • Wow! I had Jeff Miller as a teacher in 1976-77. Nice to see that he is still around. He was a good teacher.
