British invasion

Monday, October 3, 2011
More than a dozen British-made cars and even one classic Ford Thunderbird toured Greencastle and Putnam County Saturday afternoon as part of the Hoosier MG Club's 2011 Falls Colors Tour. After visiting parts of Parke and Clay counties, the cars stopped on the courthouse square to hear stories of The Buzz Bomb, John Dillinger and more, and then made their way north to experience a couple of covered bridges. The car enthusiasts also ate lunch at The Fairway restaurant, where the line of colorful cars became quite an attention-grabber along U.S. 231.
