Friends of the Park Assoc. holds annual meeting

Greencastle Friends of the Park Association conducted its annual business meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at the home of Bill and Joy Marley.

Greencastle Civic League members Emily Knuth and Suzanne Masten presented the organization with a program that inspired the association with a new idea of a splash and spray recreation called, Splash Pad.

The association also presented a $400 contribution to the People Pathways, which was generated from the "Pancakes for Parks and Pathways" community breakfast on July 4. People Pathways will be using the donation toward creating and maintaining the community multi-trail system.
