Joyce Sage

Joyce Sage, 68, of Cloverdale, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at Hendricks Regional Health. She was born on May 29, 1943 in Putnam County and was the daughter of the late Roscoe Leonard "Bud" and Helen (Bell) Hayman.

She was retired from F. B. Distro, Greencastle.

She is survived by her sons; James Sage and wife Donna, Greencastle, Jerry Sage, Avon, and Jeff Sage, Terre Haute; her sisters, Marcia Coffman, Greencastle, Nedri McNeal and husband Alvie, Va., Linda Miracle and husband Earl, Patricksburg; her brothers, David Hayman and wife Diane, Cloverdale, Jimmy Hayman and wife Judy, Cloverdale, and Warren Hayman; seven Grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Sage, and her sisters, Patricia Clodfelter and Wanda Burnham.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 11 a.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Pastor David Clayton officiating.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Cloverdale cemetery.
