Harvest Pantry holds mobile food distribution

CLOVERDALE -- The Harvest Pantry at the Soul Harvest Church will be holding a mobile food distribution effort on Friday, Oct. 21.

The food distribution is scheduled from 1-3 p.m. in the parking lot of the church located off U.S. 231 on Crosswinds Drive, behind the Dollar General in Cloverdale.

Food will be distributed to all families who attend on a first-come, first-served basis. The distribution will be set up like a shopping center and participants will be able to choose which items they would like.

For families who are unable to get to the distribution site, Rural Transit buses will be available at two different locations, Stardust Clubhouse and Cloverdale Community Housing, for pick-up and drop-off. For a schedule of route times, persons may call 795-6738.
